UPDATED: Oh you gotta hand it to Kanye West for making sure any awards show he attends isn’t a snoozefest. In another one of his trademark “Bitch, Please” moments, Kanye storms the stage interrupting Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech for Best Female Video at tonight’s MTV Video Music Awards. Taylor was in the middle of her speech after shockingly beating out Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson and Beyonce for the award. An already shell-shocked Swift was surprised when Kanye West jumped onto the stage and “politely” grabbed the mic from the country singer’s hands. West then tells Swift how happy he is for her win but then quickly changes focus and addresses the audience. He shouts out that Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time with her oft-imitated and mocked “Single Ladies” video- pretty much insinuating Bootylicious Beyonce got robbed. Not long after the incident, West was asked to leave Radio City Music Hall.

For the first time ever, I’m giving a double BITCH, PLEASE! on a single post. First off, while I don’t agree with Kanye’s tactics, BEYONCE was definitely ROBBED by the country teen singer so MTV you get a BITCH, PLEASE!. Secondly Kanye, shame on you for robbing Taylor Swift of her moment and a BITCH, PLEASE to you. I admit I’m not Swift’s biggest fan but the teen superstar didn’t deserve this kind of treatment. The poor girl was so visibly shaken after Kanye’s tirade that the camera focused on audience members who gave her a supporting standing ovation.

The ridiculous stunt even had his fellow musicians turning on West. Pink apparently had to be escorted away by security after lashing out on the rapper. According to a several tweets, Taylor Swift and her mama were seen backstage crying afterward. Rightfully so, as she didn’t have an opportunity to give her acceptance speech. Thankfully, Beyonce upon receiving the night’s biggest honor “Best Music Video”, decided it would be good form to bring Swift onstage fora do-over of her acceptance speech. The former Destiny Child singer stated, “Thank you. I remember being 17-years-old, up for my first MTV Award with Destiny’s Child and it was one of the most exciting moments in my life. So I’d like Taylor to come out and have her moment.” Classy move, Beyonce. Classy move.

After one of Kanye’s previous award antics, he apologized for his actions and blamed it on a little sippy-sip. Before the awards show, Kanye was seen holding a big bottle of Hennessy on the red carpet. He was even shot sharing the bottle with Pete Wentz on one of the many red carpet photos. You’d think he would have learned a lesson from his previous drunken outburst and ixnayed the booze-ay before attending the event. Someone needs to be on Awards-Show Lockdown.

Once the buzz started to wear off, Kanye realized he needed to start making amends and posted an apology on his blog.

“I’M SOOOOO SORRY TO TAYLOR SWIFT AND HER FANS AND HER MOM. I SPOKE TO HER MOTHER RIGHT AFTER AND SHE SAID THE SAME THING MY MOTHER WOULD’VE SAID. SHE IS VERY TALENTED!”
