We waited seven long years for new music after Justin Timberlake released FutureSex/LoveSounds. Thankfully only a few months is all that separates The 20/20 Experience and its sequel scheduled to drop this September. Just in case you didn’t get the memo, 2013 is the year of the Timberlake.
The 32-year-old just dropped a 50-second clip teasing a new single which will appear on his new album. In it, Justin drives to a club and holds up a series of cue cards. Each one shows release dates of “Suit & Tie,” “Mirrors,” The 20/20 Experience and his new single “Take Back The Night.” Being the tease that he is, the release date for the latter is blurred out. He then proceeds to enter the club as the clip magically switches from black and white to color.
With regards to his forthcoming single, I’m already loving “Take Back The Night” based on the short snippet heard in the clip. Currently, JT has the number one album of the year. It’ll be interesting to see how the sequel to The 20/20 Experience does. Can he pull off the top two spots on Billboard’s year end charts? I think he can. Check out his teaser below.
