July 2015: Five Must-See Movies

I don’t know about you but we are experience the heatwave of all heatwaves here in Vancouver and there is no better way to cool off than a nice air conditioned theater. Luckily for me, there are more than enough movies this month to run off an watch on those unbearably hot days.

Check out my picks for must see movies this month…

Magic Mike XXL

Opens July 1st

Why you should see it: This one pretty much goes without saying. If the first wasn’t full of enough gratuitous male objectification, this one promises much, much more.

Opens July 3rd

Why you should see it: I have been looking forward to this film for quite some time now. Whether you were a fan or not, there is no denying that Amy Winehouse’s death was an extremely tragic loss of an immensely talented girl.

Opens July 17th

Why you should see it: Amy Schumer is everywhere these days and she is showing no signs of stopping. Easily one of the funniest people, Schumer is sure to deliver a hilarious performance alongside SNL’s Bill Hader.

Opens July 17th

Why you should see it: Certainly not at the top of my list for must see superhero movies but with a cast that includes Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas and a personal favourite, Evangeline Lily, this film is sure to deliver.

Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation

Opens July 31st

Why you should see it: In all honesty I think I gave up on these movies after number 3 but something tells me this one will be worth checking out. The trailer alone has got me super excited to see what more they can do with this franchise.

I think – TrainWreck is going to be a good movie just not for the Summer but the FALL it would have been a perfect date movie and Magic Mike should have came out on Friday not Wednesday.
