WHEW..GIRRRRRLS SHE IS EXHAUSTED! Honestly I don’t even know how I’m typing right now…Marie.
Last weekend (March 24-28th) Donovan and I went to Vegas (full post about that coming later) and when we found out we were going, one of the things I DEMANDED from the powers that be at Homorazzi was PEEPSHOW! PEEPSHOW PEEPSHOW PEEPSHOW! I was dying to see this show. As a major fan of Holly’s World on E!, you know that PEEPSHOW is a show at Planet Hollywood in Vegas starring Holly Madison and uber dream boat Josh Strickland. Now not only did we get some of the best seats in the house to see some serious boobies (THANK YOU CEATTA!), we had arranged for an interview with JOSH STRICKLAND! If you recall, I posted about his new single Report to the Floor a little while back, and seeing him every week on TV as he goes through the dramz on Holly’s World…well I didn’t have to tell you that I was so nervous/excited.
So before we sat down for Peepshow which was starring Angel Porrino from Holly’s World because Holly was in Paris (I’ll just have to go back an interview her next time) I got the chance to sit down with Josh to talk about everything. Yes he is as sweet as he is shown on TV, yes he is as handsome as he is on TV (even more actually) and yes everything you see from him on TV is real. He is STUPID talented, like STUPID STUPID talented and his vocals in Peepshow were so amazing. One thing that I loved the most about this interview was his eye contact, like i said incredibly personable and incredibly sweet. It was an awesome way to start my first weekend in Vegas. The actual show was a really cute idea about Bo Peep trying to find her mojo with the help of all the nursery rhymes…but dirty! My favourite was Ms Pete and Pony. Those two numbers were incredible!
Check it out below, we talk about everything…Thank you so much Josh!

As Tommy mentioned earlier, he was adamant that “The Peep Show” was on our to-do list. Trust me, a happy Tommy is a fun Tommy. After interviewing Josh (who was as wonderful as Tommy said), we watched the show. Unfortunately, the time we were there, Holly was out of town and Angel filled in. Angel did a great job, but I’d love to see how the dynamics are when Holly is on center stage. I definitely have to see it again.
I had no idea what to expect from the show prior to getting there. It really didn’t matter, since I was entranced from the get go. I love the concept of re-interpreting childhood nursery rhymes into adult entertainment. As a gay man speaking, some of those female characters in adult form had me excited. That being said, there was a bit of male nudity to match the T&A from the rest of the ladies. Those guys had abs and asses of steal. Yummers.
What I enjoyed the most in between all the titillating choreography was the live singing. Dayum, those girls had some pipes. Too boot, the wide array of songs used in the show definitely covered a large spectrum of musical tastes. My personal favorite was Ginuwine’s “Pony”. I won’t spoil it for you, but that sexy saddle dancing was hot. At one point, I was a little scared for her as she was flying up high above the audience.
I definitely recommend the show next time you’re in Vegas. If you’re a lover of musicals, it’s right up your alley. Plus looking at the talented attractive cast isn’t so bad.
