Jo-vanni Roman (As if that’s his real name) is a 20 year old who lives in Miami, escorts on the side, and sometimes travels to Europe with Anti-Gay bigot preachers (ahem: George Alan Rekers) for some heavy petting sessions. A link to his Rentboy profile was included in an article by Unzipped earlier this week in which they had posted about how they discovered which profile was his by putting all of the clues together. Roman told the The Advocate, “I don’t think people realize how serious this has gotten, and I would have talked about this had my privacy been respected,” referring to Unzipped’s unzipping of his profile. Since the big reveal, the photos has all since been removed from his profile.

Roman actually spoke directly with the Miami New Times, the publication that originally broke this story, and confirmed the obvious that the anti-gay man he traveled with was indeed gay.

“It’s a situation where he’s going against homosexuality when he is a homosexual,” he told the New Times. “In all honestly [sic], he should disassociate himself from these [antigay] groups.”

He also divulged to the New Times:

Rekers allegedly named his favorite maneuver the “the long stroke” — a complicated caress “across his penis, thigh… and his anus over the butt cheeks,” as Lucien puts it. “Rekers liked to be rubbed down there,” he says.
