J.J. Abrams Films Star-Studded Superhero Parody For Jimmy Kimmel’s 50th Birthday

When he was a child, Jimmy Kimmel wrote and illustrated a comic book titled, The Terrific Ten. His childhood dreams came true on his 50th birthday celebration on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

J.J. Abrams brought his pages to life by filming a parody featuring a star-studded cast. Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Jennifer Aniston, Zach Galifianakis, Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, Jimmy‘s cousin Sal, Jon Hamm, Shaquille O’Neal, Ty Burrell, Billy Crudup, Jake Tapper and Wanda Sykes all donned superhero garb in honor of the late night host.

The episode also featured a special edition of “Mean Tweets.” The likes of Chris Hemsworth, Jennifer Lawrence, Halle Berry, David Letterman and many more read disparaging tweets aimed at Kimmel. The most notable one read by Kim Kardashian penned by her husband Kanye West. If you recall, back in 2013 Kimmel and West were engaged in a Twitter feud.
