According to the Hollywood Reporter, that might very well happen. Jill Zarin, along with Alex McCord, Cindy Barshop and Kelly Bensimon were fired by Bravo from “The Real Housewives of New York“. It was a bloodbath not seen before by any series of the popular franchise. After a lackluster fourth season, it made sense for the network to do a massive cast shakeup. It would seem that Zarin wins the prize for landing on her feet faster than the other three ladies.
Sources say that Jill is very close to signing a deal with Fox to star in her own show. The premise of the show involves Zarin heading out West to the Golden State. Sort of a fish-out-of-water type show. If I didn’t know any better, I’d think Zarin is purposely following in the footsteps of her former BFF, Bethenny Frankel by leaving the Big Apple. The SkinnyGirl reality star moved to Los Angeles for the second season of her Bravo spin-off, “Bethenny Ever After“.
Zarin’s rumored new show is tentatively titled, “The Beverly Jillbillies“. Not a fan of Jill, but I will admit that the title is beyond cute. The show’s producers and Fox haven’t confirmed the rumors, but Zarin did admit she is currently house-hunting in Los Angeles. Is this really a thing, or is Jill Zarin simply up to her old tricks again?
As mentioned earlier, Jill wasn’t my favorite on RHONY, but I will give credit, where credit is due. She’s definitely resilient and congrats to her for bouncing back so quickly. I guess we’ll find out soon enough if these rumors are true. While we wait, I suggest you check out a recent article on Hollywood Reporter. If you’re a huge Bravo Housewives fan like me, you’ll appreciate their in-depth report on the phenomenon of this popular franchise. It’s definitely an interesting read.
What do you think of this latest Jill Zarin development? Would you watch Zarin headline her own show? What other fired Housewife do you hope lands her own reality show? Sound off below.

Love the name of the show and I am a fan of Jill and find the idea of the show cute :) whether it is true or not- I know Jill is doing well and has a lot of things she has been coming out with to build her enterprise and make a name for herself in various businesses. Bravo to her in all she does- I am happy she is doing what she is meant to do and made a profession out of doing way before housewives- being a businesswoman and doing a fabulous job
