During her time on American Horror Story, Jessica Lange embodied a different character every season with ease. She’s upping her transformation game by turning into eight legendary women for New York Magazine.
The 67-year-old Oscar-winning actress recreated iconic portraits of eight famous women with photographer Sandro’s assistance. From Frida Kahlo to Georgia O’Keeffe to Gloria Steinem and a few more in between, she was a different icon in every shot.
Some recreations, naturally, worked out better than others. The one above, for instance, is on point. It’s not like she can pass for Kahlo, but the essence is there. Check out a couple more below, along with a behind-the-scenes clip of the photoshoot.
