It’s the collaboration that keeps on giving. Jeremy Scott’s partnership with adidas originals began in 2008. His shoe designs became instant iconic bestsellers for the brand. Once again, the American designer creates eye-popping masterpieces. I totally want the totem pole-inspired high-tops. I just hope they don’t get pulled from stores like last season’s high-tops which came with plastic orange ankle cuffs. Civil right groups claimed they were racist since they resemble shackles- a symbol of slavery.
For the Spring/Summer 2013 collection, Scott looked at Native American imagery for inspiration. Several pieces feature heavily printed images of totem poles and eagles. Not everything has this motif however. Plaid is also very well represented. He mixes and matches prints perfectly for a track jacket and pair of sneakers. Speaking of footwear, Jeremy brings back his popular wings for certain styles. Though I would never wear them, the bear camo high-tops are totes adorable. Check them out and the rest of his outlandish and fun collection featuring ANTM judge and male supermodel Rob Evans.
Love this totem jacket.
If the bathing suit looks familiar, Nicki Minaj wore it for her Elle fashion spread.
Love these high-tops too. Gotta have them.
But if I could only have one piece, it’s gotta be this pair.
