Jenny from the block is back. It’s been 15 years since Jennifer Lopez released her debut effort, On The 6. The Bronx-born entertainer finds herself back on the same subway line to show her fans she’s still the same girl from years ago, albeit just a tad more glamorous and a whole lot richer.

After her third EDM collaboration with Pitbull failed to live up to its predecessors, Jennifer Lopez is wisely going a different musical route for her upcoming 10th studio album. Much like her wicked “Girls” DJ Mustard creation, “Same Girl” harkens back to J.Lo’s Fly Girl urban era. As much as I love her dance tracks, I appreciate this change of pace.

“This was just something I was doing for the fans, it’s not a first single or anything like that”, told Jennifer to Ryan Seacrest.

Rocking a New York Yankees cap and fur-trimmed winter jacket, the 44-year-old diva shows us the sights and sounds of her former Castle Hill neighborhood. At the end of the clip, she gives a shout out to her childhood peeps. “Thank you Andrew Freedman House, Jazz at Lincoln Center Youth Orchestra, and to all my people in the Bronx… You’re forever in my heart.” Check out the visual for the Chris Brown-penned track below.
