Just last week, Jennifer Lopez rocked the Internet with her dazzling cover art for her new single, “Ni Tu Ni Yo.” It featured the 47-year-old entertainer in a billowy mustard gown by Michael Costello perfectly blowing in the wind. Why she would offer up another promotional picture, and a pedestrian one at that, is beyond puzzling. This one is no bueno compared to its fierce predecessor.
During Macy’s Fireworks Spectacular on the Fourth of July, Jenny lit the stage with a fiery performance of her new offering. She follows that up by releasing the official studio recording.
“Ni Tú Ni Yo” finds J-Lo collaborating with Gente de Zona whose credits include “Bailando” featuring Enrique Iglesias and “La Gozadera” with Lopez’s ex, Marc Anthony. I’m all about Latin music lately, so naturally I’m into it. I will say though, I was expecting more of a reggae vibe given Zona is known for Cuban reggaeton. Give it a listen below.
