If you thought “The Hunger Games” was just a local phenomenon, it’s not. The record-breaking movie is a global sensation. It’s only fitting, Jennifer Lawrence who plays the film’s heroine is the talk of the town, or in this case the world. Given that Lawrence was blessed in the looks department, magazines are obviously chomping at the bit to feature the 21-year-old actress on their covers.
Two lucky international publications who scored Lawrence were Interview Magazine (Germany edition) and IO Donna (Italy). For the German mag, Lawrence channels her inner Britney Spears and takes a page from Beyonce’s wardrobe book. Seriously, Katniss looks like the “Toxic” singer in smokey eye makeup wearing a glittery encrusted black one-piece by Dolce & Gabbana. Photographer Matthias Vriens-McGrath was responsible for snapping the gorgeous pic. For the Italian publication, Jennifer goes for a more refined classy look showing some major cleavage. Check out both covers along with some memorable quotes below.

“When I get my first real check, I want to bathe in a pool full of pasta.”
“Sometimes I think, I should rather have more artistic answers ready. But the truth is: I’d like to be Bridget Jones and I am interested in Hulk Hogan.”

“By pure chance. I was 14, I was in New York with my mother, standing on the sidewalk watching a rap-dancer, when a guy with a camera comes up and asks permission to take a picture. ‘Why not?’ my mother says, amused … In New York anything can happen. After a week I got a call at home and was asked to make a commercial. In short, I became a model, but without much enthusiasm. My agent, however, was always there, hammering: ‘Would you rather be a successful model or actress who is starving?’ For goodness sake, I have not had a moment’s hesitation.”
“With a family and many children. Acting is my job, but it is only a small part of my life”

She looks a bit like Rose Huntington-Whiteley on on the IO Donna cover, no? Also, why are they using a Gucci look from three seasons ago? Especially a Gucci look she already wore on the cover of a magazine. I understand it’s probably a stock photo from that same shoot- and they did choose a different photo- but sheesh. Guess this is why I don’t run a magazine. Still, I must say she looks better in the Gucci.
