Music music everywhere! First Florence and the Machine come out with a new song, and then I’m hit with *BAM* hit after *BAM* hit. Here’s a couple repeat offenders, and a whole lot of groove.
1. Goody Two Shoes – Duck Sauce
I’m just slightly obsessed with good House right now (Avicii is killing it currently), and somehow everytime Duck Sauce comes out with something, I stand up and pay attention. They’re more than just Barbara Streisand. They’re right in the classic House/70’s groove and I’m loving every moment of it. A great friend of mine and talented DJ made an amazing mix a couple weeks ago, and this song jumped off of my iPod. It’s groovy, it makes you grind and dance and fro your hair and just feel generally fantasballs. Stay cool forever Duck Sauce.
2. Night of Your Life – David Guetta ft. Jennifer Hudson
Yup. Patrick featured this song in his David Guetta article, but it needs more attention! MORE! It’s homorrific, and J-Hud just kills it. And with less than a week ’til the album drops, I’m P double Umped for it now that I’ve heard a couple more tracks. Guetta knows how to make a dance track, friendly for the clubs, friendly for your personal listening, friendly for making you feel fabby-do! There was an underwear sesh today in my living room, that continued to some dish washing, and then a little mirror time. NBD. No Big Deal. Put your hands over your head and move that ass!
3. Feel So Close – Calvin Harris
I love Calvin Harris so much. The Ready For the Weekend album was one of my 2010 highlights, and now after Bounce’ing with Kelis all summer, we get to Feel a little Closer to CH. C’MON CALVIN! GIVE US ANOTHER ALBUM! The track is just classic feel-good Harris, and has a fantastic remix to accompany it.
