‘IT’ Debuts Creepy New Trailer

The creepy first look at the big-screen adaptation of Stephen King’s horror classic scared up 197 million views in a single day. It sped past the previous record holder, The Fate of the Furious, leaving it and its previous benchmark of 139 million views in the dust. No doubt, the official movie trailer will generate a lot of views as well.

When children begin to disappear in the town of Derry, Maine, a group of young kids are faced with their biggest fears when they square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries. Bill Skarsgård steps in to play the iconic killer clown in the film directed by Andrés Muschietti (Mama).

An ensemble of young actors also star in the film, including Jaeden Lieberher (Midnight Special), Jeremy Ray Taylor (Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip), Sophia Lillis (37), Finn Wolfhard (TV’s Stranger Things), Wyatt Oleff (Guardians of the Galaxy), Chosen Jacobs (upcoming Cops and Robbers), Jack Dylan Grazer (Tales of Halloween) and Nicholas Hamilton (Captain Fantastic).

IT spooks moviegoers on September 8, 2017. Check out the new trailer below, if you don’t suffer from coulrophobia. It has a whole Stand By Me vibe which I’m digging.
