The trailer for a drama film called Inside Llewyn Davis has just come out, written and directed by Joel and Ethan Coen and starring some pretty cool people.
Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, Justin Timberlake, and John Goodman are just a few of the familiar faces in the movie. Inside Llewn Davis tells the story of a singer-songwriter who navigates New York’s folk music scene in the 1960s and is loosely based on Dave Van Ronk‘s posthumously published memoir titled The Mayor of MacDougal Street. Isaac plays Llewyn Davis and gets a hard time from people along the way who don’t take him seriously. Mulligan’s character gives him a pretty harsh lecture on safe sex, saying “I should have had you wear double condoms, or we shouldn’t of done it in the first place. But if you ever do it again (which as a favor to women everyone you should not) but if you do, you should be wearing condom on condom and then wrap it in electrical tape.” Ouch!
The trailer has Bob Dylan’s “Farewell” song playing in the background. Check out the trailer below. The release date hasn’t been announced as of yet.
