In a week’s time, Indonesia is scheduled to ban all pornographic sites country-wide. This movement was spearheaded last month by the country’s information minister Tifatul Sembiring. He ruled that all Indonesian ISPs had to start blocking access to porn by August 11th (the start of Ramadan). Well, before the country bans porn, they parliament got to see one last bang.

For fifteen minutes over the weekend, some hardcore porn images were displayed on a large screen, an internal monitor that normally only shows the day’s political schedule, according to the Jakarta Globe. The images came from an online adult site that had been banned by neighboring countries already (Singapore & Malayzia).

Since ISPs don’t know how to just ban all porn sites countrywide, they are having to be told which sites to ban exactly.
