Iggy Azalea Shares Four Free Tracks & Declares ‘Digital Distortion’ Is Dead

What’s in a name? Sometimes everything.

After multiple delays, Iggy Azalea has decided to scrap Digital Distortion and rename her long-awaited sophomore album. Maybe she sensed the title was cursed. There was a lot bad juju going around. How else can you explain “Switch” and “Mo Bounce” bombing despite being very solid productions.

The 27-year-old Australian rapper took to Twitter to reveal she’s not releasing any singles or new music with her new label until January 2018. She also revealed the title of her upcoming LP will instead be called Surviving the Summer.

To tide fans over til then, the femcee did them a solid and released four new songs all available to download for free. She recorded “Going Up”, “Good”, “Hate On It” and “Never Satisfied” over the summer. Her friend Ljay Currie produced the tracks which she feels are “motivational.” Check them out by heading over to WeTransfer.

Do you think Azalea can ever match the success of “Fancy” and “Black Widow” or has she already been classified as a has-been and no longer relevant? Weigh in below.
