After a heated month-long competition, we finally have a winner for our 2012 Man Crush Showdown. Who will follow in the footsteps of Scott Herman and Jonathan D. Lovitz who won the competition in 2010 and 2011 respectively? Find out below.

Like the 2012 Model Behavior Showdown, there was a clear winner. This sexy Aussie held the lead from the get-go and never let it go. The most interesting part of his victory was the fact he didn’t even win his preliminary round. In fact, he came in third and only earned his spot in the finals as a wildcard. Keep reading to find out who he is and who the two runners-up were.

3rd Place – Bronze

Unlike the winner and runner-up, I had no idea when I selected Scott Speedman for my weekly post that he would be a contender for the 2012 Man Crush crown. Apparently, a lot of our readers share the same sentiment that Felicity did back on the WB show. Speedman is still as crushworthy as ever.

Why I Chose Him: I’ve been crushin’ on Speedman since his Felicity days. Glad he was back on a weekly basis. Sadly, ABC torpedoed Last Resort.

How They Got To The Finals: Placed 2nd in Round 3.

2nd Place – Silver

Even though he more than doubled his number of votes in Round 3, Justice came up short in the finals. That said, placing second is pretty impressive. If he needs some consoling, my arms are open wide ready to take on that task ;) I really have to thank one of our avid readers (Nathaniel) for suggesting him. Side note: Justice was my last Man Crush post of 2012. What a great way to end the year.

Talk about a comeback. Ewing was third in his preliminary round and ended up in the finals via a wild card spot. His fans definitely rallied behind him this time. The second I saw Dan Ewing when I was in Australia, I knew he would be in the finals and a serious contender for the crown. He’s the boy next door with an edge. Despite winning Round 1 with over 5,000 votes, Brandon Quinn landed in dead last in the finals with less than 200 votes. Where did his fans go? Did they switch teams? Though not as steep of a decline, Round 2 winner Ryan Guzman also wasn’t as impressive in the final round. Check out the final results below.
