In this episode of Hawt Topics, we have Jonny, Topher, Stephen, Tommy, and of course Donovan behind the camera.
The five discuss the current stands of the Vancouver Canucks and a photo scandal involving a Vancouver MLA that ended up stepping down.

Why, during “Hawt Topics” is there a need for a person behind the camera? As far as I have seen each installment is one fixed shot (no panning or zooming) and I assume you shoot using a tripod.
I find it distracting and irritating when the person “operating” the camera adds his thoughts directly into the mic and therefor louder than the on camera cast.
If the blasting voice from beyond is camera shy perhaps he could crouch behind the rest of the guys with a sock puppet perched over one of the cast members shoulders… OR, maybe he should just not altogether.
