How crazy would it be to have two huge fan followings meld together fore one flick, if Glee’s Heather Morris is indeed cast as the new Buffy The Vampire Slayer movie. The movie, which will not have any of the same actors that appeared in the television show (sorry Sarah Michelle Gellar), is currently being cast and the rumor is that our favorite “Brittany” from Glee, is being considered for the lead role.
The rumor has being going around for a while, but Heather Morris herself confirmed it to be true when asked by Access Hollywood: “They’re considering me! I found out and I almost peed my pants ’cause I was so excited!….If they make [Buffy] when [Glee] is on hiatus, I don’t even care what I do. I can just run through the shot and do nothing – even if I’m not Buffy!”
Even after this statement, Warner Brothers denies that there is any truth to this, but it’s hard to ignore all of the signs that point to there being some truth to it.
Donovan recently informed us that that Heather Morris was signed on for a new endorsement deal which makes her the new spokesperson for Flirt Cosmetics. Getting the spotlight in her own episode on Glee with Britney Spears, a new endorsement deal, and being considered for the lead role in what would likely be a huge box office hit, 2010 has been an amazing year for the dancer turned superstar.
