Okay, random question. How many times have you seen the “Heather is Back” promos on the CW? I’m guessing at least 100 for me, haha. Seriously, it plays during every commercial break on Gossip Girl and every other CW show. Normally, the over-hyping constant-in-your-face approach would turn me off, but it’s Heather so I’ll make an exception.

If you’ve been living under a rock, or couldn’t be bothered, Amanda Woodward makes her way back to Melrose Place on Tuesday Nov 17. We’ve all seen the commercials with her walking in her stilettos down the offices of WPK (Woodward is the W in the name) and her showdown with Ella. Personally, I love the BLONDE vs BLONDE campaign. I can’t wait for these two to go at it.

Even though, Locklear has had her fair share of bad luck the past few years, she looks pretty Fiiiiiiiiine in the promos- I think it’s A LOT of soft lighting. Either way, she’s FAB at forty-eight. Not only do I love Amanda but I love the fact she has the same iMac as me (see picture above).

Here’s her first full scene released from The CW. If this is the type of zingers she’ll be spewing each episode, sign me up. Not only is she back in fine form but that look she gives Ella up and down is PRICELESS.

“This L.A. branch is drowning in red like a steer in a slaughter house. Now when I hired you to give this place a makeover, I didn’t mean smear it with lipstick and turn it into a five-dollar hooker. This office… is pathetic.”

I really hope the producers have Amanda interact with some of the original cast members and not just the newbies. How awesome would it be, if she shared scenes with Michael, Jane, Jo and the recently murdered Sydney. Heck, Billy talked to Brooke for at least a couple episodes after she died. Speaking of the oldies, since Woodward is the W in WPK, do you think the P and K are former cast members? Is it wishful thinking that the P stands for Parker, Alison Parker. A homo can wish, can’t he.

This promo was released last week but just in case you haven’t seen it, here it is. I wonder if she’ll be moving back in. If so, how are they going to try to explain this? What 48 year old would want to live with a bunch of noisy twenty-somethings? Certainly not anyone in my condo complex. After hearing them all complain last week about the noise from their young neighbors during our AGM (Annual General Meeting), I can’t wait for them to check out our housewarming party. They haven’t heard loud until then.

Are you looking forward to the episode on Tuesday? Or are you just happy to know Ashlee Simpson will be leaving soon? Hopefully Amanda’s the reason Violet leaves. As much as an awful actress Ashlee was, I’m going to miss CRAZY EYES.
