Like many things we face in our lives, the first step is acknowledging and admitting it to yourself if you have a problem. In this instance, I’m not talking about alcohol abuse or drugs. In fact, it isn’t something it illegal or wrong at all. I’m talking about hair loss.
As you may or may not know, I own a store that sells skincare & grooming products – mostly for men, but some unisex lines as well. Over a couple years ago, we started carrying a line called DS Laboratories. They specialize in some well researched and insanely effective hair loss products for men & women. Fortunately for me, I’m not like that commercial for Hair Club For Men (“I’m not only the Hair Club president, but I’m also a client”) so I don’t use the products on a regular basis. That being said, I do see the people who do use the products and the results are amazing. What’s most amazing for me is hearing how it has changed their lives in terms of confidence etc. People have literally said the words, “This has changed my life,” and that the best thing I could hear as a small business owner – it has made it that much more rewarding.
So why do I say, “The First Step Is Admitting It”? Well, I see a lot of people that are self conscious about their hair loss and can’t admit that it’s happening. People walking by with friends or loved ones, and someone cracks a joke at the windboard out front which talks about the hair loss product. “Look, you need that, hahaha,” they say. This then makes the person feel super self conscious about it and makes them go into denial. I see it happen all the time.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t see anything wrong with “bald” or “balding” people – so people can really own it and at the end of the day it’s what you want that matter, not what anyone else thinks. That being said, I think people should know that there are options that work, and they shouldn’t be self conscious about asking about it. It’s SO common people – for both men and women, and there’s nothing to be ashamed of! If you notice that your hair is thinning, the best thing you can do is start early. Using the Revita Hair Growth Stimulating Shampoo, one of DS Laboratories products, can make a world of difference – and that is SUCH an easy thing to integrate into your routine. One guy a few weeks ago said his bathroom is all white, and he used to notice hair everywhere, all the time. After using the shampoo regularly, this stopped completely. That being said, it’s not a miracle product. So, if you had experienced hair loss, say 15 years ago, it’s not realistic to huge results.
So, I thought I’d share those two little secrets/tips with you. (a) the products I mentioned do actually work and (b) SO many people are going through what you may be going through so there’s nothing to be self conscious about. It’s very common.
There are two/three products. One is the Revita Hair Growth Stimulating Shampoo. The other is a topical treatment, but there are two to choose from depending on the where you fall on the Norwood Scale of hair loss. Spectral DNC for the earlier stages, and Spectral DNC-L for the later stages.

So I am curious (as I am owning my hair loss) is if the products are effective for things like male pattern baldness (in the front) or thinning hair. My understanding is that they are genetic conditions, so how do you make the hair grow back?

Hey Adam, thanks for the comment! The products are actually designed primarily for male pattern baldness… There’s lots of information on the DS labs website, this is just one page:
