At 13-years-old Hailee Steinfeld scored an Oscar nomination for her star-making turn in True Grit. This Summer, the talented young star showed she has some decent pipes as well. Steinfeld appeared in Pitch Perfect 2 and performed an acoustic rendition of “Stitches” with Shawn Mendes. The 18-year-old just launched her recording career with a surprisingly solid track.
“Love Myself” was co-written by Hailee and will appear her upcoming debut LP. It features production work from duo Mattman & Robin. Coincidentally enough, the Swedish production team have worked with Taylor Swift. Steinfeld appeared as the Trinity in Swift’s “Bad Blood” video. It pays to have some connections.
