‘Grey’s Anatomy’ To Feature Its First Gay Male Surgeon

Over the years, several LGBT characters have appeared on Grey’s Anatomy. Most notably Callie Torres and Arizona Robbins, played by Sara Ramirez and Jessica Capshaw respectively. However, few of those characters have been men. The long-running medical drama just added its first ever gay male surgeon… and a hot one at that.

Meet Alex Landi. The 6’1″ model/actor is of Korean and Italian descent. He’ll play Dr. Nico Kim on a recurring capacity when the Shonda Rhimes drama returns for its 15th season.

Landi isn’t the only hottie being recruited. He joins previously announced Chris Carmack (Nashville, The O.C.) as newbies to the show. Carmack steps in to play the hospital’s new orthopedic surgeon.
