The third season of Grace & Frankie just arrived on Netflix in March, but production has already started on the fourth season. If you thought the comedy couldn’t get better, wait til you see who pops up. Friends alum Lisa Kudrow joins the series for a major story arc.
Kudrow plays a velour tracksuit-wearing manicurist named Sheree who’s a longtime acquaintance of Grace. Unfortunately for the titular characters, Sheree causes a riff between the beach-house roommates.
This casting marks a mini Friends reunion of sorts. Marta Kauffman, who created Grace & Frankie, was also one of the creative forces behind the NBC sitcom. Maybe this means more Friends appearances are in the future. Fingers crossed. If not, hopefully the long-awaited cameo from Dolly Parton is on the horizon. The 9 to 5 reunion is long overdue 🙂
Since Friends ended, Kudrow has stayed busy, starring in the critically-acclaimed HBO comedy The Comeback and Showtime’s Web Therapy. She’s also made memorable appearances in Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Scandal, The Girl on the Train and Easy A. Currently, Lisa can be heard in the animated blockbuster The Boss Baby
