Enjoy The Golden Globes With EFFEN Vodka Cocktails

The 70th Golden Globe Awards broadcast live from the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills tonight and I couldn’t be anymore excited. I’m such a sucker for all the Hollywood revelry, especially this particular one. Due to all the free-flowing alcohol, the Globes are one the most entertaining and unpredictable of them all. Add the hilarious tag team of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler to the mix and it’s guaranteed to be a great time.
Since watching these live events is more fun with friends, I’m having a few people over. To get in the spirit of the Globes, we’ll also partake in enjoying some libations during the ceremony. Our friends at EFFEN Vodka sent over a few Hollywood-themed drink recipes for us to enjoy. Whether you’re watching the Globes solo, hosting a party or skipping the entire thing, definitely sample these tasty cocktails. As always, remember to drink responsibly.
EFFEN® Black Cherry Starlet
2 parts EFFEN® Black Cherry Vodka
3/4 part DeKuyper® Peachtree Schnapps Liqueur
3/4 part Lemon Juice
2 slices Fresh Peach
2 Fresh Cherries
1 part Club Soda
Method: In a mixing glass, muddle peach slices and cherries in juice and syrup. Add EFFEN® Black Cherry Vodka, peach liqueur and lemon juice over ice. Shake, and strain into a tall glass over ice. Top with club soda and garnish with peach and cherry.
EFFEN® Toast of the Town
1 part EFFEN® Black Cherry Vodka
1/2 part Raspberry Liqueur
Champagne
Method: In a mixing glass, combine all ingredients except champagne. Strain into a fluted glass and top with champagne.
EFFEN® Black Cherry Glamour
1 part EFFEN® Black Cherry Vodka
1 part Aperol® Liqueur
¾ part Grapefruit Juice
½ part Lemon Juice
¼ part Agave Syrup
2 parts Sparkling Wine
Method: In a mixing glass, combine all ingredients over ice except sparkling wine. Shake, and strain into a wine glass over a small scoop of ice. Top with sparkling wine. Garnish with grapefruit peel.
EFFEN® Couture
1 1/2 parts EFFEN® Vodka
1/2 part Leroux® Triple Sec
3/4 part Lime Juice
1/2 part Simple Syrup
3/4 part Pomegranate Purée
3/4 part Passion Fruit Purée
Method: In a mixing glass, combine all ingredients over ice. Shake, and strain into a low tumbler over ice. Garnish with lime wheel.

Total truth. I reached out to them for drink recipes. I genuinely enjoy their vodka and want to promote them.
DouggSeven, why do you always think the worst? You accuse me of promoting PSY early on due to my Asian heritage and now this. Seriously. I’ve kept my mouth shut but if you’re going to spew negatively with 90% of your comments, why do you keep coming back? Just saying. In the end, a hit is a hit. So thanks

90% Dang. One would think I’m a troll but I don’t think so because I don’t lie.
I dunno – I tend to post when I’m agitated…not the other way around.
But when you said ‘our friends at EFFEN Vodka (capitalized & in bold) – it really looks like a sponsorship there…or some other perk.
If I come off negatively, I do apologize. I am not a negative person at all irl.
PS: That Psy guy still annoys me. No more posts about him please…that poor dead horse.
