Be sure you have a box of Kleenex handy if you plan on watching the next episode of Glee. Based on the audio alone, I already found myself tearing up. Match that up with some slow-motion visuals and footage of Cory Monteith, I predict more water gushing out than Niagara Falls while watching “The Quarterback.” If you remotely have a heart, I’m confident the same will happen to you.
Not surprisingly there isn’t an uptempo number in the lot. It’s all very somber and heartfelt. Naturally, Lea Michele’s performance is the one everyone is looking forward to. It doesn’t disappoint. Both Amber Riley and Mark Salling return to honor their cast mate by delivering fantastic covers.
In fact, all the originals are back with exception to Dianna Agron. I wonder why. She says she wasn’t contacted, while Ryan Murphy revealed anyone who wanted to participate, he incorporated in the show. I sense some behind-the-scenes drama here.
