If you’re counting the days til “Glee’s” fourth season premiere on September 13, then boy do I have a treat for you. Correction. Ryan Murphy has a treat for you. The show’s co-creator promised Gleeks he would release a deleted scene from last season if he reached 500,000 followers on Twitter. He recently joined the microblogging service and clearly was jonesing for some followers. True to his word, Murphy posted the following video on the show’s YouTube channel.
The scene, titled “Klaine Box“, is from the supremely gay Christmas episode. Due to time constraints, the cute exchange between Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Blaine (Darren Criss) hit the editing room floor. Given that it was the couple’s first Christmas together, Blaine wanted to make it special. That and also to cheer up his high-maintenance boyfriend after losing out a bid for some Elizabeth Taylor memorabilia. He gives Kurt a ring box, but what’s inside? A ring? A condom? Find out below.
The Klaine “Box Scene”
“To always love you. To defend you, even if I know you’re wrong. To surprise you. To always pick up your phone call, no matter what I’m doing. To bake you cookies at least twice a year. To kiss you wherever and whenever you want. But mostly just to make sure that you remember how perfectly imperfect you are.” – Blaine
How sweet were those words? Oh, to be young, gay and in love 😉 Are you looking forward to seeing how the show handles all the graduating seniors, the new freshmen and returning McKinley kids? I know I am. Hopefully, all the changes revive the show to the glorious series it once was. Do you think that’s even possible? Sound off below.
