With gay and lesbian characters well represented on “Glee“, it’s a no-brainer that GLAAD loves the show. Based on the organization’s selection of hosts for its annual awards ceremonies, it’s clear they LURVE the musical dramedy. Not only is one or two taking on emcee duties, but rather three cast members are officiating the 2012 Awards. Dianna Agron, Cory Monteith and Naya Rivera were the trio chosen for hosting honors by GLAAD.

Agron will host the San Francisco awards, while Rivera and Monteith share the task for the New York City one. This isn’t Rivera’s first time at the rodeo. Last year, she hosted the Frisco date. As of yet, the Los Angeles date doesn’t have a host. Anyone want to make bets that it’ll be another “Glee” actor? We were lucky enough to attend the LA event last year. Both Patrick and Tyrell covered the red carpet, with Alex, Brian and myself joining them later for the after party.

Joining Cory and Naya in attendance in New York will be Vinny Guadagnino (Jersey Shore), Megan Hilty (Smash), Jay Manuel (ANTM), Wendy Williams, Padma Lakshmi (Top Chef) and Carson Kressley (Queer Eye For The Straight Guy) to name a few. Over in Los Angeles, the event welcomes a star studded group including Jesse Tyler Ferguson (Modern Family), Josh Hutcherson (The Hunger Games), Anna Paquin (True Blood), Ellen DeGeneres, Fran Drescher (The Nanny) and Betty White will all her “Hot In Cleveland” co-stars, Wendie Malick, Jane Leeves and Valerie Bertinelli. Meanwhile, Shonda Rimes (Grey’s Anatomy) is the sole celebrity so far confirmed for the San Francisco date. For more information on all three dates, head over to http://www.glaad.org/ for more info and to purchase tickets.

With graduation around the corner, “Glee” producers have slowly started to introduce the parents and relatives of the senior class. Just a few weeks ago, we finally met Rachel’s two gay dads. Earlier in the season both Mike and Sam’s parents were introduced as well. Gloria Estefan and Matt Bomer will appear when the show returns from it’s hiatus as Santana’s mom and Blaine’s older brother respectively. But what about Puck?

Back in Season 1, we met Puck’s mom played by Gina Hecht and now we get to meet his father. Playing the role of Daddy Puck will be “Melrose Place” alum Thomas Calabro who played Michael Mancini for the show’s entire run. Based on the pictures above, the casting seems spot on. Don’t they have the same mischievous side smirk? I wonder if Calabro will sport a faux-hawk of his own. Thomas will make his debut on the third season’s 18th episode.

What do you think of Calabro’s casting? Which character’s family member would you like to meet next? Sound off below.
