Earlier this Fall, HBO released a very short teaser of the upcoming season of breakout hit Girls. At long last, we finally have our first full-fledged trailer promoting the show’s premiere on January 13, 2013.

Admittedly, I boarded the Girls‘ bandwagon a little late and took a couple of episodes before I fell in love with it. But now I’m a hardcore fan of the Lena Dunham sitcom. With lines like the following by Hannah talking about on-again, off-again boyfriend Adam, how can I not: “I know I always said he was murder-y in a sexy way. But what if he’s murder-y in like a murder way?” Another memorable quote from the trailer is from Shoshanna (Zosia Mamet) who’s now done the deed: “I may be deflowered, but I am not devalued.”

Check out the trailer below which gives us our first look at Rita Wilson who pops up this season playing Marnie’s (Allison Williams) mom.

Are you excited for the Season 2? While I was easily (and sadly) Miranda from Sex and the City, I can’t figure out which one I am from this cast. I’d like to think of myself as Marnie, but I probably have more Shoshanna characteristics ;) Which ‘girl‘ are you from the show? Sound off below.
