Rosette Covers Madonna’s “Girl Gone Wild”

Canadian chanteuse Rosette has been working her butt off placing her vocals on some of the hottest dance and house tracks in the past few months. She’s teamed up with every from Dimaro to Ian Carey & Timbaland. So what is Rosette’s latest project? A cover of one of the most talked about songs right now, especially for her homo fans.
Rosette takes a stab at Madonna’s Girl Gone Wild in her latest track. While the backing track remains pretty in tact to the original, Rosette’s vocal tone really plays well to the song. Another notable addition to the song are the remix in lyrics. Rosette opted to remove “get fired up like a smoking gun” and inserted “show some skin like we got some sun.” Overall, I think she paid the song its justice but I’ll let you be the judge. This version has an edge and sexiness to it that I think makes it really appealing. I almost wish she had gone even further with that tone. Still good though. How come I’ve never heard of her?

I’m almost 100% sure this is the demo and not a cover. And I cannot believe I’m saying this about something she’s done but I actually like it. More than Madonna’s.

Yeah, don’t go throwing stones at me now, but I kinda prefer Rotette’s version. (is this really a demo?)

Because Madonna was so busy editing her movie and then promotion and stuff, the producers had singers come in sing Madonna’s lyrics to the musical arrangements onto demos so that when the actual recording began all the demo references were ready, so this is prolly one of those!

but sorry Madonna’s is much better. this girl has a great voice but her voice doesn’t flow as nicely as M’s and when she sings the “Like A Girl Gone Wild” she sounds retarded

Madonna’s version is way better because her voice fits perfectly with the melody of the song.
