Star-Studded Lineup Pay Homage To George Michael In Upcoming Showtime Documentary

I’m a sucker for a documentary about a deceased singer. Amy and Whitney: Can I Be Me about Amy Winehouse and Whitney Houston respectively are recent favorites. No doubt, this one about the incomparable George Michael will also be a fantastic watch.

George Michael: Freedom was actually worked on by Michael up until his tragic death on Christmas Day in 2016. It documents the making of his 1990 hit album Listen Without Prejudice and the legal battle with his record label that ensued.

Michael narrates the film and features appearances by Kate Moss, Nile Rogers, Stevie Wonder, Ricky Gervais, Cindy Crawford, Elton John, James Corden, Mary J. Blige, Mark Ronson, Naomi Campbell, Tony Bennett and Liam Gallagher.

George Michael: Freedom appears on Saturday, October 2 on Showtime. Check out the trailer below.
