Over the past few years several Homorazzi cast members have watched, cried, laughed and reviewed gay-themed movies. I have definitely have found a few favorites of my own, including Shelter, which I reviewed a short while back. To be honest, I have a special place in my heart for gay films, especially those hopeless-romantic comedies with two unlucky-in-love men searching for their one true prince charming.
With the nature of website, it’s natural to assume we have endless access to gay films, videos and exposes from around the world. In fact, while we do have access to some pretty great movies, such as I Love You Philip Morris, which was featured just last week as it made it’s way to DVD and Blu-ray, we realize that everyone may not have a gay-friendly video store in their neighborhood.
Well, fret no longer as your access to gay-orientated cinema is about to change. Now, there is an online catalogue for your accessing and potential viewing pleasure: http://gay-themed-movies.com
The website has a fantastic catalogue of films, including a top twenty-five list of the latest feature films tackling and showcasing the lifestyles of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender individuals. I definitely recommend checking out the website, even if its just to confirm that your in the upper echelon in the gay cinema scene!

Some of the BEST gay movies are not even on their Top 25 list (C.R.A.Z.Y., Trick, Hedwig, Brokeback Mountain, Beautiful Thing, Get Real, The Broken Hearts Club, Pricilla, The Birdcage, Rocky Horror, Flawless) while some of the worst are represented! Bah!

@Wesley: We’re sorry that you did not like our list.
The reason why films such as BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN or THE BIRDCAGE are missing from the Top 30 list is that they have not been reviewed yet. As soon as we review these films they will also get their respective place in the Top 30 list. Apart from our own reviews there is also a list of AllMovie.com and Rotten Tomatoes, so we provide a second (and third) opinion for everyone who does not agree :-) As you know, it’s always a matter of taste.
Which films from the list did you not like?
@Homorazzi: Thanks a lot for this article and for the nice review about our site. We have put a lot of efforts into it, so this article is really apprecaited :-) THANKS!!
