It’s definitely a scenario I’m sure many dads face when they learn that their son is gay… what about my major league ball player? I’m sure my father felt the same way when he learned I was gay back in 2004 after I graduated. Sure, I was always a dancer and singer and not the most athletic, (I left that up to my brother) but it was still an adjustment for him and at times, still is. This short film Gay Baby explores that topic. Read the quick synopsis below.
What if you found out your unborn son is GAY? An expectant couple learns their unborn son is gay. Can a young gay store clerk change the father’s reaction from disappointment to excitement?
The 9 minute short features the acting styles of Larry Sullivan, Beth Shea and Tye Olson and was written and directed by Kevin Kelly. The expectant couple heads to a gay baby store to pick up a few things for their new boy. The toys the couple come across are absolutely hilarious and so stereotypical of the gay community that you cannot help but laugh. In the end, the film teaches you not to judge a gay by it’s appearance. Check out the short film below.
