When I first saw PSY’s epic “Gangnam Style” music video, I just knew that shit would go viral. It was so insanely hilarious and riveting, that I watched it at least five times during the first sitting. Whether this clip reaches those heights, who knows? But, I have no doubt it’ll go viral.
“Love On Me” is the latest single from Galantis. The Swedish producing duo teamed up with Aussie producer, Hook N Sling, for the extremely infectious radio-friendly bop. Like many tracks today, it features a tropical EDM vibe with its abundance of steel drums. A trend that I’m not tired of yet 🙂
“We fell in love with the idea of creating something really eclectic and soulful by starting with recording a full orchestra. Then we put everything we got out of that session into a no-holds- barred-blender and ‘Love On Me’ was born. It has grown into a very special song for us and, we are super hyped-up to share it with the world.” – Galantis
For the accompanying visual, director Dano Cerny was enlisted. And boy does he deliver. The colorful clip, filmed at a temple in Thailand, is a beautiful kaleidoscope of monks performing whimsical choreography, twirling umbrellas and executing fierce fan moves. This fun clip is a must-see. You can’t help but have a smile on your face while watching it.
