Indie rock group Fun. hit it big last year after the kids over at Glee ended an epic episode covering their debut commercial single, “We Are Young.” The song became an anthem for many other TV spots and commercials alike and even spawned a few parodies. Now, the boys are ready to follow up the success with the release of their new album and single of the same name, “Some Nights.”
On Monday, the single was released along with the video exclusively on MTV. In the clip, the boys gear up for an epic civil war reenactment which matches the military drum beat of the track. I heard the song on the radio a few weeks ago and was immediately hooked – the video clip has only amped my appreciation for the song. I think these boys are the new Foster The People. Check out their video below.

I don’t think it takes much to be “the new” Foster the People, but fun. are actually a very talented group. I’m hoping they’re more than a one album wonder.

Theres is NOTHING more irritating than when someone speaks about something they have no info about. There is NO compairison between Foster the People and Fun. -at all. This is Fun.’s SECOND album, their first is just as good and the lead singer has been going for years prior with The Format. Very different styles of music. They have also done a tour in Vancouver already and hit it big long ago. Foster is also a very good band, indie vocal and their original stuff is almost purely electronic.
