The “Blurred Lines” singer has more lives than your average feral alley cat. Robin Thicke should be very thankful that people in the music industry still want to work with him after his underperforming last album, Paula. That LP posted embarrassing first week sales in the US (24,000 copies), UK (530 copies), Canada (550) and Australia (158). Thanks to Flo Rida, the 38-year-old R&B singer should find himself back on the Billboard Hot 100 once again thanks to this beyond catchy collabo.
“I Don’t Like It, I Love It” is the latest cut off the rapper’s EP, My House. The 35-year-old Florida native just recently scored his tenth Top 10 Billboard hit with “G.D.F.R.” His latest feel-good jam is tailor-made for Summer listening and should do quite well on the charts and on radio.
For the accompanying clip, Flo Rida and Thicke hold a good old-fashioned block party full of dancing and hanging out with friends. It’s a simple visual but effective one for the catchy single. Check it out below.
