Everyone’s favorite forgetful fish is back. Disney and Pixar have released the first teaser trailer for the long overdue sequel, Finding Dory. Naturally, it premiered on Ellen DeGeneres‘ YouTube channel. The 57-year-old talk show host returns to voice the amnesiac character.
The sequel takes place six months after the events of Finding Nemo. Dory suddenly recalls her childhood memories and goes on a quest to find her family with the assistance of Nemo and Marlin. Albert Brooks returns to voice the latter, but since Alexander Gould’s voice deepened since 2003, he’s been replaced with Hayden Rolence. Damn puberty 😉
Diane Keaton and Eugene Levy join the franchise as Dory’s parents. Rounding out the cast are Ty Burrell, Ed O’Neill, Willem Dafoe and Idris Elba. Finding Dory swims into theaters on June 17, 2016. Check out the first clip below.
