Two weeks after announcing that Camilla Cabello had abruptly left the group, Fifth Harmony appeared on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve. Since that was pre-taped, all five girls appeared on the telecast that aired December 31. Their performance at the People’s Choice Awards marks the first time the group sang publicly as a foursome.
Instead of one of the girls taking on Cabello’s verse on “Work From Home,” it was completely cut out. In fact, the track featured a different arrangement. One that I liked actually.
If fans were worried 5H couldn’t move ahead as a quartet, fear not. Dinah Jane, Normani Kordei, Ally Brooke Hernandez and Lauren Jauregui absolutely slayed it. Other than the fact the group name doesn’t really fit anymore, this new formation works for me. They seem tighter and more cohesive.
