Even though “Down” is a copycat of “Work From Home,” Harmonizers don’t care. The track is on the road to becoming the biggest hit for the girl group. It peaked at No. 2 on the US iTunes chart upon its release, but topped the download chart in 25 other territories. Guess their attempt to recreate “Work From Home” and its success is working out.
A week after dropping the first taste off their forthcoming album, the accompanying visual drops. Normani, Ally, Lauren and Dinah head to a seedy motel for some midnight fun. Each sizzles during their own vignettes but when they come together to execute the track’s already iconic choreography, it’s FIYAH!!! Seriously, these dance moves are sensational.
Check out the colorful clip below directed by James Larese. The simple approach is quite hypnotic and effective. I already liked the song before, but now I’m in lurve with it. Great job girls. They’re absolutely slaying it as a quartet. Camila who?
