Back in April, I wrote about a guy who conducted an experiment in a mall by pretending to be a celebrity and creating a bit of a scene. His fake celebrity name was Thomas Elliot which to be fair, does indeed sound like it would be a celebrity’s name.
Anyway, it looks as though the idea has caught on because another guy just did the same thing except instead of a mall, he took on Time Square. Meet fake celebrity, Brett Cohen. This video kicks things up a notch with paparazzi, assistants, bodyguards and of course the crowds of people in New York City.
It’s amazing to see what people said and how excited they were to see this person they believed to be a celebrity. Some thought he was a singer and even said they had heard his first single. Others said their favorite movie of his was Spiderman. So bonkers! Watch the video below to see for yourself.

As soon as I noticed he was bouncing on his tiptoes (kinda like Ian from Big Brother) I would know that he could never be a real celebrity. Cuz real celebs have swagger, not moon shoes.
