With “Smash” being an instant smash (excuse the pun), media attention has focused on its stars, primarily Katharine McPhee. The “American Idol” runner up is certainly on the receiving end of a lot of press. It’s all definitely well-deserved. I always was a fan and bummed that her recording career never took off. Earlier this week, I took a trip down memory lane and watched a few of her old music videos including “Love Story“. I forgot how hot her love interest was in that clip. Naturally, I Google’d him and discovered his name is Erik Fellows. Instantly, I knew my Man Crush of the week was chosen. Thanks, Katharine.
The 31-year-old model and actor hails from Silver Spring, Maryland. Along with romancing McPhee, Fellows has been cast as the love interest for other music videos including Jennifer Lopez’s “Me Haces Falta” and Lindsay Lohan’s “Rumors”. Considering his success, a career in front of the cameras wasn’t one he dreamed of as a child. Initially, he wanted to pursue a career in the NBA but an injury caused all his dreams of becoming a professional basketball player to come crashing down.
At 19-years-old, Erik moved to NYC, upon a friend’s suggestion, to pursue modeling. This, naturally led him to acting. Over the years, he’s appeared in a few shows including “CSI: NY“, “Days of our Loves” and “NCIS: Los Angeles“. Get to know more of the crushworthy Erik Fellows in several pictures below. Enjoy.
Let’s get the obligatory shirtless pic out of the way. You likey?
There really is no other word than “handsome” to describe him, is there?
Erik is even sexier with a jacket and tie.
Normally, I’m a fan of longer hair, but I think Fellows looks better with a short ‘do.
He certainly makes his rounds as the hot token video boy. Here he is wooing Katharine McPhee (top left), Jennifer Lopez (top right) and Lindsey Lohan (bottom left).
Loving his eyes. I wonder if he picked his shirt to match his greyish green eyes.
Now that you’ve seen shirtless pics of him with both long and short hair, let’s compare them side by side. What do you prefer?
