To commemorate the end of “Lost”, Entertainment Weekly is highlighting 10 characters from the show. Each fan favorite will grace the cover of the entertainment magazine. ABC’s hit show changed the landscape of television when it first debuted and help turn ABC’s fortunes around. At the time, ABC was dead last among the four big networks. But with Lost, Desperate Housewives, Grey’s Anatomy and Ugly Betty debuting all within a year of each other, it began to begin its rise from the bottom.
In the six years Lost has been around, it’s permeated beyond the obvious science fiction crowd. People all around the world have been fascinated with the survivors of Oceanic 815 since day one. I thought it was a brilliant move by ABC and “Lost” producers to announce this would be the final season a couple of years back. It allowed the writers two and half years to give fans a satisfying ending (hopefully).
With only a few episodes left, I’m beyond excited to see how it all ends. Hopefully it’ll be a happy ending. In light of the deaths of three much-loved characters this week, I highly doubt it. Personally, I’m still reeling and in denial that Sun, Jin and Sayid are dead. Even though I was so sad watching Sun and Jin pass, I was beyond angry that we waited almost three years to watch the Korean couple reunited, only to be killed an episode later.
Are you a “Lost” fan? How do you think the show will end? Do you think any of the characters will have a happy ending or will they all meet the same fate as Sayid, Sun, Jin?

For all uber fans of LOST, like myself, I totally recommend the following website. I too was awestruck and emotionally reeling when all 3 died in one episode. This website gives so much more insight into the LOST series than even I have put into it. Reading the “Things I noticed” blogs are amazing http://darkufo.blogspot.com/
