If you’re a theater nerd even in the slightest, this is must-see viewing. Emily Blunt and Lin-Manuel Miranda joined forces with James Corden to pay homage to 22 musical in 12 minutes on The Late Late Show. And they did it all in just one take. Pretty effing amazing.
The trio kicked off the tribute with Cabaret then continued the action with Chicago, La La Land and Beauty & The Beast. Other musical numbers covered include Evita, Dreamgirls, Annie, Hairspray, Les Miserables and Moulin Rouge. Before they ended things with Mamma Mia, Emily and James revisited a number they performed during Into The Woods.
Check out the entire clip below. Naturally, they also did a number from Blunt and Miranda’s new film Mary Poppins Returns which arrives in theaters this weekend.
