Eileen Davidson Confirms RHOBH Exit, See Who’s Replacing Her

After three seasons of exotic vacations and numerous catfights, Eileen Davidson is throwing in the towel. The 58-year-old actress confirmed her exit from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills via her Instagram account. She cited her family and hectic acting schedule as the reasons behind her decision.

“After a lot of careful thought, I’ve decided because of my crazy schedules at The Young and The Restless, as well as Days of Our Lives, it’s best for me and my family if I step away from being a Housewife for now,” Davidson posted on Instagram. “But you never know, I might be popping in from time to time just to see what the ladies are up to! Thanks for your love and support guys!!!”

Speculation of Davidson leaving the franchise rose after ex-RHOBH cast member Camille Grammer shared a photo via social media. Pictured were regular cast members Lisa Vanderpump, Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, Erika Jayne and Dorit Kemsley, along with ex-cast member Adrienne Maloof and an unidentified blonde.

E! News reveals said blonde is Teddi Jo Mellencamp, daughter of legendary rocker John Mellencamp. Reportedly, she’s joining the franchise for its upcoming Season 8. She is married to Edwin Arroyave and has two children and one step-child.

Whether she’ll get to hold a diamond in the intro or simply be a “Friend of the Housewives” depends on what drama she brings to the table. Check out the photo below.

Will you miss Eileen? I will. For the most part Davidson remained level-headed during her tenure on the reality series. It’s nice to have some sort of sanity among the chaos. Weigh in below.
