Ed Sheeran Debuts New Tracks ‘Castle Of The Hill’ & ‘Shape Of You’

Ed Sheeran has officially kicked off his new era. The 25-year-old singer shared two new tracks off his forthcoming third studio album, rumored to be titled, divide. After his previous LPS plus and multiply, it certainly makes sense.

The long-awaited tracks do not disappoint. Both “Castle Of The Hill” and “Shape Of You” are fantastic, with the latter my favorite of the two. Surprisingly on both, Sheeran avoids the ballad route. Instead “Shape Of You” is a xylophone-tinged tropical meets tribal jam while “Castle Of The Hill” has an anthemic folk rock vibe.

“I’ve been working hard on the new material and I hope you can be as excited about it as I am,” 25-year-old Sheeran wrote in a release. “I really wanted to show two different sides to my music that I’m equally as passionate about and I just knew I wanted to roll with two songs at the same time. I’m absolutely buzzing to be back.”

Check out both tracks below and let us know which one is your favorite.
