Turns out the rumors were true. Everyone on TMZ’s list is part of Dancing With The Stars Season 17 with a few extra additions. As I had hoped, some male eye candy was added. It comes in the form of Pretty Little Liars actor Brant Daugherty and High School Musical‘s Corbin Bleu.

Speaking of eye candy, my favorite Russian pro dancer Gleb Savchenko isn’t dancing with anyone this year. Former SYTYCD dancer Lindsay Arnold is also missing, along with longtime staple Kym Johnson. Stepping in to replace their shoes are Tyne Stecklein, Emma Slater and Sasha Farber. The latter two were both part of the Dance Troupe for several seasons. Congrats on the promotion.

This year, DWTS is only airing once a week which means both the eliminations and performances will take place on the same night. For those who looked forward to the musical guests, don’t worry. They’ll still appear, but only later in the season when the cast has been whittled away. Without further ado, check out the DWTS Season 17 cast below which was revealed earlier today on Good Morning America.

Christina Milian

Known For: Singer & The Voice Social Media Correspondent
Professional Partner: Mark Ballas (2 wins)

At first I was surprised Milian was part of the cast given that The Voice airs during the same timeslot. Wouldn’t that be a conflict of interest? Turns out, Christina left the NBC singing competition to focus on her singing career. Guess DWTS qualifies for that ;) Milian should fare well. After all, we’ve seen her dip it low, pick it up slow and roll it all around in her music videos.

Brant Daugherty

Known For: Actor (Pretty Little Liars)
Professional Partner: Peta Murgatroyd (1 win)

If you don’t watch the ABC Family drama, you probably have no idea who Brant is. Shame on you. He’s one hot piece of ass. Be sure to check out my Man Crush post to get the lowdown on this stud. Given his relatively low profile, I predict he’ll place somewhere in the middle.

Snooki

Known For: Reality Star (Jersey Shore)
Professional Partner: Sasha Farber (First Year)

Snooki’s castmate Mike aka The Situation Sorrentino appeared on the 11th season during the height of Jersey Shore mania. Despite that, he only managed to make it during the fourth week. Even though I predict Snooki has more rhythm than him, I don’t expect her to make it far. Plus, she also has a newbie as a pro partner. He doesn’t have the same built-in fan base as the other professionals.

Leah Remini

Known For: Actress (The King of Queens)
Professional Partner: Tony Dovolani (1 win)

This summer she made headlines for leaving the Church of Scientology. This is the perfect transition to parlay all that attention. I’m definitely rooting for her. I’ve been a fan since her Saved By The Bell days. Speaking of which…

Elizabeth Berkley

Known For: Actress (Saved By The Bell, Showgirls)
Professional Partner: Val Chmerkovskiy (0 wins)

I can’t believe Nomi f*ckin’ Malone from Showgirls is competing. We all know she can dance but can she do it without sticking her tongue on a stripper pole ;) Personally, she’s the one I’m most excited for. Who doesn’t love Jesse Spano? To boot, she’s paired up with my favorite Chmerkovskiy brother, Val. These two are definitely top contenders. Hopefully, Val can score his first win with Elizabeth.

Valerie Harper

Known For: Actress ( The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Rhoda, Valerie)
Professional Partner: Tristan McManus (0 wins)

Earlier this year, Harper revealed that she had been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. Reportedly, she’s in good enough physical condition to undergo the strenuous strains the competition requires due to the fact her cancer is close to remission. Love her, but can’t see her making it far. Poor Tristan. Will the show ever pair him up with an actual contender?

Bill Nye

Known For: As The Science Guy
Professional Partner: Tyne Stecklein (First year)

Can we say early boot? I just can’t picture Bill Nye The Science Guy having secret ballroom dancing powers. He’s also paired up with a newbie and unlike the other newbies, Tyne has never appeared in the Dance Troupe.

Bill Engvall

Known For: Comedian
Professional Partner: Emma Slater (First year)

Here’s another contender for an early exit. To be perfectly honest, I’ve never heard of him prior to this cast announcement. I’m sure, I’m not alone. If he makes it past week two, color me surprised.

Corbin Bleu

Known For: Actor (High School Musical)
Professional Partner: Karina Smirnoff (1 win)

Just like Zac Efron, this High School Musical star has grown up to become one sexy man. I predict he’ll have great chemistry with Karina. These two, along with Berkley/Chmerkovskiy are definitely the ones to watch this season.

Jack Osbourne

Known For: Reality Star (The Osbournes)
Professional Partner: Cheryl Burke (2 wins)

Prior to Kelly Osbourne’s stint on DWTS, she was arguably known as the bratty kid on The Osbournes. What a difference a little fox trot makes? Instantly, she became America’s sweetheart and transformed her image overnight. I’m sure Jack is hoping the same will happen during his stint. Having Burke as a partner will definitely help. Arguably, she’s one of the more popular and well-liked professionals on the show.

Amber Riley

Known For: Actress (Glee)
Professional Partner: Derek Hough (4 wins)

My little Mercedes Jones all grown up and ready to take home the mirrorball trophy. She’s proven she can dance on Glee and with Hough’s knack to create ingenious choreography specific to his partner, makes Riley a serious contender. Finally, Mercedes gets her time to shine. Eat that Rachel Berry ;)

Keyshawn Johnson

Known For: NFL Athlete & TV Host
Professional Partner: Sharna Burgess (0 wins)

NFL athletes traditionally have the best track record on the show. Consistently, they make it deep into the competition. Last year, Sharna Burgess managed to get Andy Dick further than anyone expected. If Keyshawn has half the rhythm that I think he has, he should do very well.

Final 4 Predictions

If Elizabeth Berkley and Corbin Bleu don’t make it to the finals, it will be a travesty. We know they have the talent, they just need to ensure they come off likeable during their segments and interviews. I can also see Keyshawn Johnson and Amber Riley in the mix. If Riley gets cut early, I can see Christina Milian sneaking in. Don’t you agree?

Who do you think are early contenders? Are you excited about this season? Which cast member are you rooting for? Sound off below.
