It’s not official until you see it in black and white. In this case, in shiny bedazzled colorful skimpy outfits. In other words, DWTS battle fatigues. Up to this point, only the identities of the celebrities coming back for Dancing With The Stars‘ first All-Stars season and their professional dancers have been revealed. Now, we finally have our first look at all the new and returning partnerships ready for battle, beginning on Monday, September 24 on ABC.

Of the thirteen stars fighting for the Season 15 mirrorball, only eleven promo shots have been released. Obviously, the thirteenth spot won’t be filled until Monday, August 27 when the results of the online voting between Kyle Massey, Sabrina Bryan and Carson Kressley will be announced. Personally, I’m hoping for Kyle or Carson.

The other missing photo is of Kirstie Alley and Maks Chmerkovskiy. Could there already be trouble in paradise? Apparently not, according to Alley’s Twitter. The actress revealed she’s been out of town, but will be posing with Maks for their picture next week. In the meantime, check out the couples who managed to make the photoshoot below.

Shawn Johnson & Derek Hough

Shawn is all grown up since she first competed. This new pairing certainly looks great together.

Pamela Anderson & Tristan MacManus

I was expecting more heat between these two. Tristan is as sexy as ever, while Pamela looks a tad timid, which is so not her. Hopefully they have better chemistry when the show begins. Otherwise, Pamela will be out early again.

Apolo Anton Ohno & Karina Smirnoff

Is it me, or has Apolo gained a bit of weight? I’m really rooting for this new pair to do well. Ohno definitely has the fanbase to propel him to a second win.

Bristol Palin & Mark Ballas

It’s only fitting that this season’s joke competitor is posing in a playful manner. I really hope she goes early. She’s not a very good dancer, even with months of training from Ballas.

Gilles Marini & Peta Murgatroyd

It’s hard to take focus away from Peta. That woman is damn hot, but I expected more sizzle from Gilles. He looks a tad awkward here, don’t you think? Maybe, he’s missing his former pro, Cheryl Burke.

Helio Castroneves & Chelsie Hightower

Helio is saddled up with the poor man’s Julianne Hough. LOL. I kid. I love Chelsie and wish her well. That being said, they look like they’re half-assing it here. No spark whatsoever. Early ouster?

Drew Lachey & Anna Trebunskaya

Considering they competed with different partners in Season 2, these two look like they’re a natural fit. Could Anna finally win that elusive mirrorball? Lachey’s popularity certainly won’t hurt.

Joey Fatone & Kym Johnson

Did the self-proclaimed “fat one” become even fatter? Nothing a few weeks in the ballroom can’t shed. Can these two improve upon their second place finish during Season 4?

Kelly Monaco & Val Chmerkovskiy

As expected, these two look fantastic together. If I were competing, Val would be my partner of choice. Just look at him. He certainly looks happy with his partner this year. I predict (and wish), he’d be even happier with me.

Melissa Rycroft & Tony Dovolani

Awwww, how adorable are these two? I loved them the first time around, and don’t foresee that changing this Fall. Look at her pointed toes and fingers. Girl is in it, to win it.

Emmitt Smith & Cheryl Burke

Can’t hold Cheryl back. Girlfriend is itching for another title. With Emmitt on her side, the two are definitely contenders to take home the mirrorball again.
