Martin Garrix Recruits Dua Lipa For ‘Scared To Be Lonely’

Expectations were high for this collaboration. Martin Garrix and Dua Lipa are two of my favorite rising artists around. Thankfully, their single doesn’t disappoint.

Scared To Be Lonely” is the follow-up to the 20-year-old Dutch DJ’s “In The Name Of Love” featuring Bebe Rexha. That banger charted in numerous global markets and this should follow suit. Both tracks will appear on his highly-anticipated debut album, reportedly out later this year via Sony Music.

The track begins with some light electronic strings before Lipa’s powerful smokey vocals kick in. And boy do they kick in. Dua absolutely slays the chorus. Really like the build up. Her voice complements Garrix’s EDM beats quite nicely.

Check out the music video below which was directed by Blake Claridge. Appreciate the fact the visual dropped the same day as the track. Wish they would all do that.
