Drake Stages Massive ‘Degrassi: The Next Generation’ Reunion For His ‘I’m Upset’ Music Video

Holy Throwback Thursday Batman!!! Drake just pulled off the most epic #TBT ever.

On the heels of announcing he’s releasing his fifth studio album, Scorpion, on June 29, Drake debuted the music video for “I’m Upset” off that LP. It features the entire original cast of Degrassi: The Next Generation. If you recall, Drake, who was then billed as Aubrey Graham, starred in the Canadian teen drama from 2001-2007 as Jimmy Brooks.

The theme of the Karena Evans-directed clip is, fittingly enough, a high school reunion. Shane Kippel (Spinner), Stacey Farber (Ellie), Adamo Ruggiero (Marco), Jake Epstein (Craig), Christina Schmidt (Terri), Andrea Lewis (Hazel), Melissa McIntyre (Ashley), Linlyn Lue (Ms. Kwan), Stefan Brogren (Snake), Ephram Ellis (Rick), Jake Goldsbie (Toby), Marc Donato (Derek), Dalmar Abuzeid (Danny), A.J. Saudin (Connor), Miriam McDonald (Emma), Cassie Steele (Manny), Nina Dobrev (Mia), Sarah Barrable-Tishauer (Liberty) and Paula Brancati (Jane) all make appearances in the visual. Even Jason Mewes and Kevin Smith (aka Jay and Silent Bob), who appeared in a few episodes during Season 4, pop up.

Just when I thought Drake couldn’t outdo his star-studded “Nice For What” video, he pulls out this sensational stunt. What will he do next? Watch the nostalgic video below. It’s great to see the entire gang back together.
